The Site does not have public contact, account, or payment forms. We collect:
- Technical and usage data, collected automatically by our hosting provider: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is used for security, to operate the Site, and to diagnose problems.
- Information you send us directly, if you choose to call or email us using the contact details on the Site.
- Memorial and obituary content that we publish at the request of families (names, dates, photographs, and biographical text of the deceased). This content is entered by our staff and is intended to be public.
We do not run advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or analytics that profile you, and we do not sell personal information.
3. Cookies and embedded content
The Site itself sets only essential cookies required for it to function. Our Contact page embeds an interactive Google Map. When that map loads, Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address under Google's Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to load Google's map, you can avoid the Contact page and reach us by phone or email instead.

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Cloudflare (United States) - website hosting, content delivery, and security logging.
- Supabase (United States) - database, authentication, and storage for memorial content.
- Google (United States) - the embedded map on our Contact page.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.
6. Retention
Server and security logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations and are then deleted or anonymized. Memorial content is kept for as long as the memorial is published. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to address your request.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and other US states with privacy laws, as well as residents of the EU, UK, and Canada, may exercise the rights available under their local law.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days in the US and one month under GDPR). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If a memorial entry contains information about you and you would like it corrected or removed, contact us using the same address.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited data we handle, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and authentication for our staff systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International visitors
We operate in the United States and our service providers process data in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed in the United States.
